- Naomi CAmazing shopping. Great selection of fresh fish. Meat .and oriental food. Highly recommended. Must go if you live oriental cuisine. Also they have great Peking Duck, roast pork which I bought. Very cheap. Also there are other hot meals too. Fried rice salted chicken stir fried vegetables etc etc. 10/10
- LF PIn terms of inventory and size, 1st Oriental Supermarket is the largest market of its kind in Central Florida. Located in Orlando's Chinatown neighborhood in a shopping mall that has seen better days, the supermarket is a definitive source for seasonal Asian fruits and vegetables, spices, kitchenware, and an exhaustive list of sundries. The supermarket also includes a full-service seafood department that features live specimens that are cleaned and processed to order, and a bakery that offers various steamed buns, baked goods and custom-order cake services. In a corner adjacent to the bakery is a small deli that features fresh roast duck on display and a limited selection of hot dishes served a la carte. At the supermarket's front is an apothecary selling all ingredients used in traditional Chinese medicine. Customer service, while generally friendly and hospitable, can occasionally be brusque and indifferent.
